Pricing

Managed PostgreSQL is priced per node with transparent, predictable monthly billing. Scale from a single-node deployment for development environments up to a 3-node highly available cluster for production workloads. All configurations include the full PostgreSQL feature set with no feature gating or hidden add-ons. Databases are billed from the same monthly usage credits as the rest of your project.

The prices below are resource usage charged against your project’s shared credit balance, not an additional subscription per database. Usage beyond the project’s included credits requires extra credits at $1 per credit. See project pricing and billing examples.

The Max connections column is the number of direct connections a node accepts. Put a connection pool in front of the database if your application opens more.

Cluster Size

You can deploy between 1 and 3 nodes per PostgreSQL database. A single node is ideal for development and staging, while a 3-node setup provides streaming replication with automatic failover for production-grade resilience. The monthly price is the per-node price multiplied by the number of nodes.

Read-only Replica

A read-only replica is an additional node with its own endpoint. It is billed at the per-node price of the configuration you pick for it, which can differ from the configuration of the primary cluster.

Backups

Scheduled and manual backups are stored in external object storage and billed at $0.05 per GB per month based on the average storage used. Restoring a backup creates a new database that is billed separately.
