Pricing

Web apps and workers are priced per replica per month, cron jobs per minute of execution.

Application resources are billed by the replica size you choose for them. Web apps and workers run all the time and are priced per replica per month. Cron jobs run only on schedule and are priced per minute of execution. Applications themselves are free: you pay only for their resources.

The prices below are resource usage charged against your project’s shared credit balance, not an additional subscription per application. Usage beyond the project’s included credits requires extra credits at $1 per credit. See project pricing and billing examples.

Web apps and workers

Replica size vCPU RAM Price per replica (credits)
Extra Small 1 1 GiB $5.00 / mo
Small 2 1 GiB $8.00 / mo
Medium 2 2 GiB $12.00 / mo
Large 2 4 GiB $24.00 / mo
Extra Large 4 8 GiB $32.00 / mo

The monthly price of a resource is the per-replica price multiplied by the number of replicas. Usage is calculated hourly: a resource that exists for only part of the month is charged for the hours it existed, and a change of replica size or count applies from the hour it was made.

Example: a web app with 2 Small replicas costs 2 × $8.00 = $16.00 per month. If it is deleted after 10 days of a 30-day month, the charge is about $5.33.

Cron jobs

Replica size vCPU RAM Price (credits)
Extra Small 1 1 GiB $0.0002 / min
Small 2 1 GiB $0.0003 / min
Medium 2 2 GiB $0.0005 / min
Large 2 4 GiB $0.0007 / min
Extra Large 4 8 GiB $0.0015 / min

A cron job is charged only while a run is executing, from the start of its container until it finishes. Each run is rounded up to a whole minute, so the minimum charge for a run is one minute. Failed runs are charged the same way as successful ones. Cron job usage for the month is charged at the start of the next month.

Example: an Extra Small cron job runs every hour and takes 3 minutes. Over a 30-day month that is 720 runs × 3 minutes = 2,160 minutes, and the charge is 2,160 × $0.0002 = $0.43.

Limits by plan

Every size is available on every plan. The plan only sets how many replicas a resource can run:

Plan Replica sizes Replicas per resource (max)
Hobby All sizes 5
Advanced All sizes 10
Professional All sizes 20
Enterprise Custom sizes custom

A cron job always runs as a single instance, so the replica limit applies only to web apps and workers. See Configuration parameters for how to change the size of a resource.
